iWhisper is built with privacy as its core principle. We believe your voice and your words are yours alone. That's why we designed iWhisper to process everything on your device, with zero data leaving your iPhone.

Data We Collect

None. We do not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal data. This includes:

No audio recordings
No transcription text
No usage analytics
No device identifiers
No location data
No contact information

How iWhisper Works

iWhisper uses on-device AI (Whisper) to transcribe your speech. This means:

All processing happens locally on your iPhone
No internet connection is required for transcription
Your audio is processed in real-time and immediately discarded
No data is ever sent to our servers (we don't have servers for this purpose)

Third-Party Services

iWhisper does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external connection is:

App Store: For processing subscriptions through Apple's payment system. Apple's privacy policy applies to these transactions.

Microphone Access

iWhisper requires microphone access to transcribe your speech. This access is used solely for real-time transcription. Audio is:

Processed immediately on-device
Never recorded or stored
Never transmitted anywhere
Discarded immediately after transcription

Keyboard Extension

iWhisper includes a custom keyboard extension. When you enable "Full Access" for the keyboard, iOS warns that the keyboard could transmit data. We want to be clear: iWhisper never transmits any data, regardless of this setting. Full Access is required only to enable microphone functionality within the keyboard.

Children's Privacy

iWhisper does not collect any data from anyone, including children. The app is safe for users of all ages.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this privacy policy, we will update this page and notify users through the app. However, our core commitment will never change: your data stays on your device.
